Shawn Burcham is an accomplished executive and thought leader with deep expertise in business strategy, sustainable growth, and operational excellence. Since founding Pro Food Systems, Inc. (PFSbrands) in 1998, he has built the company into a national leader in foodservice, food manufacturing, distribution, and retail.
Over the past two decades, Shawn has founded and grown more than 10 businesses and invested in others where he can add value. One of his most notable ventures is GRITT Business Coaching, home to the proprietary goal-tracking software, GRITTrac.
In 2017, Shawn spearheaded the development of PFSbrands’ Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), transforming the company into a 100% employee-owned business and instilling a culture of accountability, ownership, and shared success.
He is also the author of Keeping Score with GRITT: Straight-Talk Strategies for Success, endorsed by Forbes Books and an Amazon #1 Best Seller. As a speaker and coach, Shawn emphasizes high expectations, accountability, and creating a positive, engaging culture where competitive employee-owners thrive.

As CFO of PFSbrands, Kyle Menges leads the accounting, finance, and data teams. With over a decade of experience in manufacturing and distribution, he brings a strong background in financial leadership.
Kyle is passionate about Open Book Leadership and the transformative power of employee ownership. At PFSbrands, he plays a key role in educating employee-owners on financial literacy, performance metrics, and how every individual contributes to company profitability.
He holds a BSBA in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant through the Missouri State Board of Accountancy.

Jennifer Briggs brings more than 20 years of expertise in human resources, organizational development, and executive leadership across diverse industries. As VP of HR at New Belgium Brewing, she helped grow the company from a regional brewery to a nationally recognized brand with more than 800 employees—earning numerous workplace awards along the way.
Jennifer is a strong advocate for values-driven leadership, communication, and democratic management. Today, she advises companies on creating profitable, people-centered organizations built on shared ownership.
She holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, graduate studies in Enterprise Project Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education. She is also a fellow at the Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing at Rutgers University.
Her specialties include Governance, ESG, organizational design, HR strategy, cultural branding, civic leadership, and change management.

Mark Gandy is a pioneer in the CFO and controllership professional services field, having founded his practice in 2001. He focuses on teaching CEOs and CFOs essential financial leadership skills to help them thrive during growth, transition, and change.
He is also the producer and host of the CFO Bookshelf Podcast, a platform for business leaders committed to lifelong learning.
Earlier in his career, Mark earned his CPA certification with KPMG Peat Marwick in St. Louis before joining McGladrey & Pullen (now RSM). He later spent nearly a decade with a prominent Missouri-based family-owned business, where he held leadership roles in internal audit, corporate finance, IT project management, and accounting, including serving as controller.
